Kirsten Harrison is the Assistant Dean of Academic & Student Services at the Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship at Florida State University, where she leads student support and academic programming with a focus on innovation and engagement.

A Tallahassee native and lifelong Seminole, Kirsten has been part of FSU’s entrepreneurship journey since 2014, where she has steadily advanced through roles that reflect her commitment to student success and academic excellence. As one of the original “Magnificent Seven,” she collaborated closely with Dean Susan Fiorito and faculty to help launch the Jim Moran School of Entrepreneurship and guide its transformation into the full-fledged Jim Moran College it is today.

In her current role, Kirsten oversees a wide range of student-centered initiatives, including academic advising, program development, and student engagement strategies. Her leadership ensures that students receive the guidance and resources they need to thrive in one of the nation’s most forward-thinking entrepreneurship programs. Harrison is known for her collaborative approach, attention to detail, and deep understanding of the academic landscape. Her work supports the college’s mission to inspire innovation and entrepreneurial action through interdisciplinary education and hands-on learning.

Interesting Facts

Mom to the world’s cutest little boy, Hank 💙. Former FSU Wakeboard Team rider (back when there was no CollegeTown). Lifelong fan of FSU, the Cowboys, and the Braves. Loves duck hunting with her husband and spending quality time with family and friends. When she’s not chasing Hank around, you’ll find her in a duck blind at sunrise or laughing around a backyard fire pit with her favorite people.
