The Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship at Florida State University offers specialized undergraduate study abroad programs designed to immerse students in global business and innovation. Opportunities include the Exploring Hospitality and Entrepreneurship program or the Fashion & Sustainability program in Florence, Italy, along with faculty-led experiences in destinations such as London, Panama, and Spain.

Made in Italy: Fashion and Sustainability

This program is a Summer Study Abroad Experience based in Florence, Italy. Set in one of the world's most influential centers for art and creative industries, students explore how environmental protection, social responsibility, and ethical practices shape fashion and entrepreneurial approaches in global markets.

Exploring Hospitality and Entrepreneurship

This program is a short-term, three credit hour Spring Break study abroad experience in Florence, Italy. Participants engage in coursework both before and after travel, then spend spring break abroad with faculty and peers exploring the hospitality industry through visit to hotel, bed & breakfasts, and restaurants to gain behind-the-scenes insights into professional operations.

Where: Florence, Italy

Who: Upper-division Undergraduate & Graduate students in the Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship and/or the Dedman college of Hospitality

When: Spring Break. Students will be expected to complete a mixture of virtual and in-person assignments during the Spring semester. They will go abroad as a component of the course during Spring Break.
