Majors

The Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship offers undergraduate programs at Florida State University’s Tallahassee and Panama City campuses. Students at both campuses can major in Commercial Entrepreneurship, while students in Tallahassee may also choose STEM Entrepreneurship or Fashion, Merchandising, and Product Development (FMPD). High-achieving undergraduate students looking to accelerate their academic careers can seamlessly transition into graduate-level coursework through our specialized Combined Pathways programs.

Through hands-on learning, students gain the entrepreneurial mindset and practical skills needed to launch ventures, solve real-world challenges, and create value across industries. Courses blend business fundamentals with experiential learning, covering topics such as innovation, marketing, finance, product development, technology commercialization, and venture creation. Students also learn directly from faculty and Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIRs), who bring firsthand entrepreneurial experience into the classroom.

If you're pursuing another degree, consider adding one of our ten entrepreneurship minors—designed to fit into nearly any undergraduate degree plan without adding time to graduation.

Whether students aspire to start a business, lead innovation within an established organization, or turn ideas into impactful ventures, a degree from the Jim Moran College prepares them to think creatively, lead confidently, and succeed in an ever-changing economy.

Combined Pathways

The combined Bachelor’s/Master’s Pathways Program provides academically talented students an opportunity to complete a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree. These partially structured pathways allow for up to 12 graduate credit hours to be shared with, or double-counted toward, an undergraduate degree program, as long as that double-counting is considered appropriate by the faculty curriculum committees and academic administrators over the program.
