Assistantships
JMC is proud to offer assistantships to graduate students whose skills and experience align with our faculty. Students who wish to be considered for this opportunity are encouraged to apply for admission by our priority funding deadline, March 1st. An assistantship application is included in the admissions application for all in-person programs.

Awarded to graduate students who are interested in a career in textiles
Bealls Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to a student who holds the upmost integrity in everything they do and exemplifies strong leadership skills.
Brand Ferland Advisors Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to a student who is interested in a business consulting career after graduation. This unique scholarship includes an online training session regarding the practical aspects of business consulting.
Florida Retail Federation Scholarship
Awarded to students in the Retail Entrepreneurship Department showing a strong interest in retailing.
Frank and Ann Vicino Scholarship
Awarded to students who show perseverance and passion for entrepreneurship.
Innovator Scholarship by Sandy Soto
Given to a student who demonstrates innovation and creativity when it comes to their participation in Florida State University and community activities.
Jim McLaughlin Scholarship
Awarded to an undergraduate student who shows a passion in Retailing and/or Product Development.
Kohl’s Scholarship
Awarded to students who are graduating in Retail Entrepreneurship and who are interested in Store Management as a career.
Macy’s Fund for Excellence
Given to students showing promise and involvement in the retail industry and participation in the Retail Entrepreneurship major.
Macy’s Incorporated Foundation Scholarship
Awarded to an internship candidate or as financial support for students to participate in the Retail study abroad program.
Office Depot Fund for Excellence
Awarded to a student with a strong future presence in the retail merchandising industry to use on educational or internship expenses.
The Retail Center Scholarship
Special recognition of outstanding leaders in Retail Entrepreneurship. Supports the functions and activities of the Florida State University Retail Innovation Center.
Ronald & Jakie Pepper Scholarship
Awarded to support students majoring in merchandising. Recipients shall demonstrate academic achievement, good character and financial need.
Target Fund for Excellence
Awarded to students in the Retail Entrepreneurship department who show leadership and promise for a strong future in retail.
Thomas M. & Eileen Rhodes Culligan Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to students majoring in Retail Entrepreneurship who demonstrate financial need.
Tom Gould Scholarship
For students who balance their academic and extracurricular activities with their full-time or part-time jobs.
Toys “R” Us Scholarship
Awarded to an undergraduate student entering their senior year that demonstrates leadership.
Walmart Scholarship
An annual award given to a high academic performing student who is interested in a career in retail.
Yonkers Scholarship
Awarded to support an undergraduate student who shows commitment and passion towards retail opportunities’.
