About Mentor Night
The Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship hosts a Mentor Night on the last Wednesday of each month, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, in the Jim Moran Building downtown at 111 South Monroe Street. Student business owners from all colleges and majors are welcome to attend and apply to showcase their businesses to fellow students and community members.
During this event, we hope to build a peer mentoring connection with our student entrepreneurs and business leaders from the community. This evening will also be a way to spotlight what some of our students have been working on and perhaps ask for a bit of guidance when needed. Most importantly, we would like to celebrate the illustrious entrepreneurs who have come out of FSU.
Drinks and apps are provided.

What can I expect at Mentor Night?
Great question! We host our Mentor Nights with the intention of building and fostering a entrepreneurship community for our students, alumni, community members, and supporters of the entrepreneurship journey. The first 30 minutes of Mentor Night is a chance for attendees to snack on drinks and appetizers while meeting with others. Our speaker will then introduce and "pitch" their business to the room to share insights and tips on their venture. The last 30 minutes of Mentor Night will be an additional chance for attendees to discuss what they've heard with others and reconnect with those in the room. Though this is the general format for Mentor Night, each event may change or be reformatted to fit the needs of that night or speaker.
