My research and expertise are in the areas of functional product development (footwear, sustainability, and kinesiology) and interdisciplinary research (smart clothing, sports/fitness wear, pedagogy, and consumer marketing). The goals of my research are to build a bridge between the conceptually and empirically well-designed findings from academia and the need for effectiveness in actual use in the sportswear, functional clothing, or fashion industries.
