2026 GCEC Annual Conference

Florida State University is excited to host the 2026 Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers (GCEC) Annual Conference in Tallahassee. For the first time in over a decade, the GCEC Conference is coming back to Florida - the last time was back in 2015 at the University of Florida in Gainesville!

The GCEC helps entrepreneurship education leaders and teams build a qualified network, learn best practices, and collaborate globally.

We are the industry vehicle by which the top, established entrepreneurship centers, as well as emerging centers, can work together to share information, develop programs and initiatives, and collaborate and assist each other in advancing, strengthening, and celebrating the contributions and impact of individual centers–as well as the overall role of university-based entrepreneurship center.

The annual conference provides a platform for members to share best practices, experience peer campuses, and build community. It is often the springboard for global collaborations that advance entrepreneurship education. The conference targets a range of center stages and faculty/staff experience levels with its content. A series of breakout sessions cover topics including but not limited to curriculum design, experiential programming, center operations and financing, trends in the industry, applied research, and new or novel approaches to entrepreneurship education.
