In honor of FSU's Homecoming Week, we’re hosting "JMC Alumni Week," where you can catch up with old friends, make new connections, and enjoy a relaxed evening with other alumni.
Check out the events happening below during the week of November 18, 2024.
Additionally, we welcome all JMC alumni back to join us for a tour of our current facilities and lab spaces. Four tour slots are available: Monday at 11am, Wednesday at 1pm, Friday at 11am, and Friday at 3:30pm. If you are would like a tour, meet in the front lobby of the Shaw Building at 644 West Call Street. If you have any questions, contact Wil Joiner.
Wednesday, November 20th
Entrepreneurship Expo
11 AM to 2 PM | Landis Green
The Fall 2024 Student Entrepreneurship Expo will be held on Wednesday, November 20th, from 11AM - 2 PM on Landis Green, as part of the Jim Moran College Alumni Week. This is a great opportunity to support our JMC students as they showcase their companies, products and services. RSVP's are encouraged but not required. November Mentor Night
6 to 8 PM | Jim Moran Building | 111 South Monroe Street
The Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship hosts a Mentor Night on the last Wednesday of each month, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, in the Jim Moran Building downtown. Student business owners from all colleges and majors are welcome to attend and apply to showcase their businesses to fellow students and community members.
During this event, we hope to build a peer mentoring connection with our student entrepreneurs and business leaders from the community.

Turkey Tank Pitch Competition
Hand-selected FSU students will compete against University of Florida students in this entrepreneurial pitch challenge. This is a semi-closed event. If you are interested in watching the pitch competition, please email Kirsten Harrison.
Homecoming Parade
2 PM | Route along Macomb St, College Ave and Copeland St
The Homecoming Parade has been an integral part of the Florida State Homecoming tradition since the university’s first Homecoming in 1948. The annual Homecoming Parade, organized by the Student Alumni Association (SAA), will begin at 2 p.m. The parade has a new route this year and will head north out of the Civic Center parking lot along Macomb St., turn west along College Avenue, then south onto Copeland Street. Bert Kreischer (B.A. ’98), a stand-up comedian, actor and podcaster, will serve as grand marshal. The parade features the Marching Chiefs, FSU cheerleaders and floats made by student organizations. FSU Homecoming Game
1:30 PM Kickoff | Doak Campbell Stadium
Cheer on the Seminoles and show your school pride at our game against Charleston Southern University! This will be the Seminole Heritage game for the football season. The team will wear turquoise for this game in November as part of Native American Heritage Month.
